Sherlock Holmes also has stronger defences than Marian; because of these defences Sherlock Holmes can overheat new players quite rapidly. Because of it's counterattack, Sherlock Holmes is great for building up the firewall level, you can use the following technique to reliable raise both money and firewall XP with Sherlock servers, you will need around level 45 attack and a medium firewall to pull this off:

1. Open three attack ports and your bank script.
2. With your default attack port attack Sherlock's bank port.
3. When you reach 100+ damage, Sherlock will begin it's counter attack.
4. Now use your other two attack ports to attack the bank port and the FTP port.
5. Once your health on your port starts decreasing heal it.
6. If executed properly you can do this ten times before the NPC will finish their attack on your default port.
